Saturday 10th February 2024 will mark the beginning of the NEW LUNAR NEW YEAR. Each year LEGO is therefor releasing new LEGO sets relating to that specific Lunar New Year and the animal it is identified with. So lets have a look at the new LEGO Spring Festival and LUNAR NEW YEAR sets that have come out 1st January 2024.
What is the LUNAR New YEAR Celebration?
In China and for Chinese families all around the world the Lunar New Year is the largest and most important holiday. It is also known as ‘Chinese New Year’ or ‘Spring Festival’ as it marks the beginning of spring season. Every year one out of 12 animals is associated with the celebration and the next LUNAR NEW YEAR – starting on 10th February 2024 – will become the Year of the Dragon!
