What to expect for 2024 LEGO Harry Potter sets
With the 4 Privet Drive set #75978 getting retired by the end of 2023, it was a welcome surprise to see the light blue Ford Angelina car as well as a little Hedwig build with Privet Drive sign getting separate releases in 2024. But there is also a new edition of a (modular?) Hogwarts Castle coming out. So get building on a new Grand Hall as well as the Boathouse and the Owlery. And how about some wonderful additions to the Castle grounds with a new version of Hadgrid’s Hut and a various pieces of the Forbidden Forest with several Magical Creatures such as Buckbeak and Aragog. Yup, we are in for a treat!
New Harry Potter collectible Hogwarts Portraits tiles
With the new LEGO Harry Potter sets that come available in March 2023, there is also a new collectible series being launched. In the sets released between 2021-2023 you were able to collect purple square wizard card tiles (see my video for that collection here). But with the new Hogwarts Modular sets you will be able to collect 14 different Hogwarts Portraits of various wizards on a banner shaped tile. (Check out my video about the NEW collection here.) Please note that these collectibles will be added to the boxes in a random order, but it is always fun to collect and add them to your Modular Hogwarts Castle.
