Have you ever wondered where all the food at Hogwarts comes from? Does food just magicly appear anywhere? The answer is no, because Hogwarts has actual House Elves that do the cooking and cleaning. So I therefor also made a MOC build of a modular Hogwarts House Elves Kitchen

In one of my previous video’s I showed an updated version of my LEGO Modular Hogwarts Castle. A few of my latest addition are the LEGO Hogwarts Boathouse #76426 set as well as the LEGO Hogwarts Owlery #76430 set. But I recently also completed a MOC build of the Hogwarts House Elves Kitchen. This is not shown in any of the movies, but a very lovely fact known only to those who have read the books.

The entire design of this MOC build is made compatible for the LEGO Hogwart Chamber of Secrets set #76389. It is an large and stacked kitchen that fits perfectly underneath the Great Hall and yet on top the the Chamber of Secrets’ ‘Head of Salazar’ structure.

Where can I find the MOC instructions for the ‘LEGO ‘House Elves Kitchen?

There are several versions and MOC’s of Hogwarts House Elves kitchens on the Rebrickbable.com website. I completely loved this one of designer Pandabrickable – item number: MOC-121085 • it consists of a 289 part in total and the manual for the build costs €4,50. Simply use the Rebrickable partlist that can automatically be uploaded to e.g. Brickowl or Bricklink account to order all the loose parts. I only ordered a part of the list, which I will explain in above video.

What else do I need to complete this Hogwarts House Elves Kitchen MOC?

  • I replaced the large center table from the MOC build by 3 tabels of my own design. 2 of them are 2×6 plates with thick round legs. And 1 large 2×10 table plate with thick round legs. See video for more information.
  • To fill up your Hogwarts House Elves Kitchen you need a whole lot of kitchen utensils and food parts. Such as goblets, pumpkins, apples, croissant, pie’s, cookies etc. Make an tower with cookie platters, a big cake, etc. Be creative about it and watch my suggestions in the video.
  • The ‘Dobby’ minifigure was part of the LEGO Harry Potter Minifigures Collection series 1 (set number 71022), but can also be found in LEGO Harry Potter set: 4 Privet Drive (75968).
  • The ‘Kreacher’ minifigure can be found in LEGO Harry Potter set: 12 Grimmauld place (76408).
