MOC: Hogsmeade Winter Village from Harry Potter

Are you already in a Holly Jolly Christmas mood? As a huge Harry Potter fan I decided to make a MOC of several LEGO Harry Potter sets combined, just to make a festive Hogsmeade Winter Village in Xmas theme. This build is one suitable as a part of your Christmas (home) decoration! In my video I will show you how to build it!

I love making MOC’s and Mash-ups from existing LEGO sets. Not only was I able to create a fantastic Hogsmeade Winter Village, but also for example this MOC of the Chinatown Office. What do I need to make this Hogsmeade Winter Village MOC?

I take a lot of pride in creating my own version of a Hogsmeade Winter Village MOC, but it could not be done without some amazing existing Harry Potter LEGO sets that got released in the last few years only (and are currently still available). If you are a huge fan of LEGO Harry Potter, then chances are you already own these sets and just need to get a few more extra items and white tiles to complete the build. Where can I find the MOC instructions for the ‘LEGO ‘Hogsmeade Gate’?

I found a very pretty reconstruction of the Hogsmeade Gate on the Rebrickbable.com website. The designer name is BenBuildsLego – item number: MOC-80339 • it consists of a 469 part in total, but for the gate you need only 53 parts • The price for the instructions (PFD and XML files) is $5.99 – also handy if you do not own the Hogsmeade Village Visit set. But if you are a keen builder you can probably deduct the number of bricks needed for the gate, just by taking a look at the cover pictures.
