Are you and your kids into LEGO Friends sets? The beloved town of Heartlake City is about to get a whole lot bigger. Starting 1st June 4 new LEGO Friends sets will be released, with among them a sea rescue boat, a botanical garden and a Heartlake City Community Centre. And more sete are to follow later this summer. Here are all new releases of LEGO Friends for summer 2023.
What is LEGO Friends and Heartlake City?
Heartlake City is the hometown of all the LEGO Friends characters. As adults have LEGO Creator Modular Buildings, now even the kids can get their hands on creating a LEGO town with lovely characters in the form of mindolls, but also many, buildings, shops and restaurants, fun activities and more. This LEGO Friends series is quite popular amongst girls but also our boy really loves playing with it.
Apart from releasing some medium to large sized sets in the past few years, LEGO Friends has quite a lot of small sets for ages 4 – 12 years. That is also what I love about this series: they are quite affordable because most of them are small, which make them a popular birthday gift for kids. And this summer you can expand Heartlake city with a total of 14 new sets coming out. Four of these sets will be will be releasing June 1st. The rest of them will follow later this year, which means I will be updating below list when new information is available.
